Own Grown Calendula Pot Marigold - Savvy Gardens Centre

Calendula also known as pot marigolds, are an old cottage garden favourite, often used as a companion plant to help attract pollinating insects. Calendula flowers from June to September from a spring sowing, or from May to July from an autumn sowing. The flowers are edible and the petals make an attractively colourful garnish to salads and other dishes.

PLEASE NOTE.

THESE SEEDS ARE PAST THEIR 'BEST BEFORE DATES' WHICH MEANS THAT THE SEED VIABILITY (OR GERMINATION RATE) IS LOWER THAN NORMAL. FOR EXAMPLE,  IF 8 OUT OF 10 SEEDS ARE EXPECTED TO GERMINATE, IT MAY BE THAT ONLY 4 SEEDS WILL GERMINATE. THIS IS THE REASON FOR THE REDUCED PRICE.
