This tiny member of the leek family has a taste similar to that of a green onion and can be used accordingly. It is cut or ground into small fragments and put into salads, tomato and egg dishes.

THESE SEEDS ARE PAST THEIR 'BEST BEFORE DATES' WHICH MEANS THAT THE SEED VIABILITY (OR GERMINATION RATE) IS LOWER THAN NORMAL. FOR EXAMPLE,  IF 8 OUT OF 10 SEEDS ARE EXPECTED TO GERMINATE, IT MAY BE THAT ONLY 4 SEEDS WILL GERMINATE. THIS IS THE REASON FOR THE REDUCED PRICE.
