Potted Spearmint

Mint Mentha, Spearmint, Pudina (Mentha spicata L.) Mint is a Perennial herb produced from a creeping rhizome with an upright growth habit. Leaves light green and ovate to lanceolate with deep veins and serrate leaf margin. Rubbing the leaves releases a lemon-smelling fragrance.
Thrives in full sun or partial shade areas that receive at least 6 hours of sunlight daily. Keep the soil evenly moist, and water it regularly during a hot season. Feed with all-purpose organic fertilizer at least once a month to provide essential nutrients for healthy plant growth. It is also recommended to fertilize after harvesting the mint leaves to rejuvenate the plant.
Gently trim away dry, brown, or yellowish leaves by using a pair of secateurs at least once a month.
