A philodendron selloum (philodendron bipinnatifidum), is native to South America but also grows on the east and gulf coasts of the United States. It has many common names such as Hope Selloum, Horsehead Philodendron, Lacy Tree Philodendron, Philodendron Hope Selloum, and Tree Philodendron, and is often confused with the philodendron xanadu.

THESE SEEDS ARE PAST THEIR 'BEST BEFORE DATES' WHICH MEANS THAT THE SEED VIABILITY (OR GERMINATION RATE) IS LOWER THAN NORMAL. FOR EXAMPLE,  IF 8 OUT OF 10 SEEDS ARE EXPECTED TO GERMINATE, IT MAY BE THAT ONLY 4 SEEDS WILL GERMINATE. THIS IS THE REASON FOR THE REDUCED PRICE.
