Potted Cuban Oregano

Warm and intensely Mediterranean. The scent of oregano instantly transports you to the Mediterranean. Aromatic, and earthy with a slight peppery freshness, it goes well in all kinds of dishes inspired by that region. Cop or tear and mix in with tomato and olive oil- based dishes, pasta sauces, pizza, risotto and fresh vinaigrettes, as well as meat, fish and vegetables. Add it liberally towards the end of the cooking to retain its fresh full-bodied flavour.
