Tillandsia (Air Plant)

Tillandsia’s are epiphyte, meaning it grows on other plants (like trees) or structures for support, absorbing moisture and nutrients from the air and rain, rather than soil. 
Appearance: It forms a compact rosette of silver-green leaves that can blush vibrant red or pink, especially when it is about to bloom, earning it the nickname "blushing bride". 
Reproduction: Air plants reproduce both sexually (via seeds) and asexually (by producing "pups" or offsets after blooming). Pups are genetically identical to the mother plant and can be separated or left to form a clump.
